Ingredients

  • 5 lb. McIntosh apples
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 2 T. orange juice
  • 2 T. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. nutmeg
  • 1/2 C. sugar
  • TOPPING:
  • 1 1/2 C. flour
  • 3/4 C. sugar
  • 3/4 C. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/2 lb. unsalted butter, cold and diced

Directions

  • Combine apples and spices, and top with topping. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour till apples are bubbly.
