- 4 T. unsalted butter
- ¼ c. sliced almonds
- ¾ c. pure maple syrup
- ¼ tsp. pure almond extract
- Melt the butter in a small pot over medium heat until it begins to foam.
- Add the almonds and sauté until lightly browned.
- Add the syrup and almond extract and cook until heated through.
- Serve warm.
- This is perfect with the Almond Croissant French toast or over warm baked apples!!
