4 T. unsalted butter
¼ c. sliced almonds
¾ c. pure maple syrup
¼ tsp. pure almond extract
Melt the butter in a small pot over medium heat until it begins to foam.
Add the almonds and sauté until lightly browned.
Add the syrup and almond extract and cook until heated through.
This is perfect with the Almond Croissant French toast or over warm baked apples!!
