4 C. rolled oats
1 C. sunflower seed
1 C. wheat germ
½ C. sesame seed
1 C. peanuts (or chopped walnuts)
1 C. honey
½ C. canola oil
1 T. cinnamon
Preheat oven to 325 F. Mix the first five ingredients (oats, sunflower seed, sesame seed, wheat germ, and peanuts) together in a large bowl. Place the honey, oil, and cinnamon in a pan and bring to a boil. Immediately remove from heat and pour honey mixture over dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Spread on two greased cookie sheets or cake pans. Bake 30 minutes at 325 F.
Stir mixture every 10 minutes (for even browning).
Allow to cool undisturbed for at least an hour.
Break apart and store in an air tight container.
Makes 2 quarts.
