Crème de Menthe Bars



Cake Layer:
1 C. sugar
1⁄2 C. butter
4 eggs, beaten
1 C. flour
1⁄2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
16 oz chocolate syrup
Mint Layer:
2 C. 10X sugar
4 T. crème de menthe
1⁄2 C. butter
Glaze Layer:
6 oz chocolate chips
6 T. butter

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease and flour a 9” x 13” baking dish.
For Cake Layer:
Cream together sugar and butter. Add next 5 ingredients and mix well. Pour into the greased and floured baking dish. Bake for 30 mins. Cool completely.
For Mint Layer:
Cream together sugar, butter and liquor very well. Spread over cooled cake and refrigerate 10-15 minutes.
For Glaze Layer:
Melt chocolate chips and butter and mix well. Cool mixture and spread over mint layer Chill for several hours then cut into squares.
