Peach Sauce



2 C. fresh peaches, peeled and sliced
1/2 C. sugar
2 T. lemon juice
1/2 C. water
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 T. cornstarch

Place peaches in saucepan with water, lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon. Bring to a boil; turn down heat and simmer for 15 minutes. Add cornstarch and simmer until sauce thickens. Serve over French toast, pancakes, or waffles.

VARIATION: You may change the fruit to 2 cups blueberries or 2 cups strawberries.
