3 C. fresh berries (blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, or strawberries) 1 C. sour cream 1 tsp. vanilla 1 C. brown sugar
Preheat oven to broil. Put 1/2 cup berries in six small ramekins or custard cups. In small bowl, mix sour cream and vanilla; spoon evenly over berries. Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over sour cream and berries. Place ramekins on a cookie sheet and broil about 2 minutes until sugar caramelizes. Be sure to watch carefully, as it may burn. May be served immediately or covered and refrigerated several hours or overnight. Serves 6.
