French Toast Stuffed with Bananas and Walnuts

French Toast/Waffles/Pancakes/Crepes


6 eggs
1/4 C. half and half
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
8 slices egg bread
4 ripe bananas, peeled and mashed
1/4 C. coarsely chopped walnuts
1/8 tsp. nutmeg

Mix together bananas, walnuts and nutmeg; stuff between two slices of bread. Beat eggs and stir in milk, vanilla and cinnamon. Dip sandwich in egg mixture and turn until saturated on both sides. Melt 2 tablespoons butter on medium heat. Add sandwich and fry about 2 minutes on each side. Sprinkle with powdered, garnish with walnut
halves and serve.
