Monte Cristo Breakfast Casserole

Egg Dishes


1 C. milk
6 eggs
1 C. diced ham
1 C. diced turkey
1 C. grated Swiss cheese
1/4 C. fresh parsley, snipped
12 thick homemade slices of French Toast OR 2 (12.5 oz.) pkg. frozen French Toast, thawed
1 T. powdered sugar
2 C. fresh strawberries in syrup

Preheat Oven to 375F. Whisk together milk and eggs. In a separate bowl combine the ham, turkey, cheese, and parsley. Cut French toast into 3/4" cubes. In a prepared 9x13" baking dish, layer half the bread cubes; top with half the meat and cheese mixture. Repeat. Pour milk and egg mixture over all. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake at 375F for 30-35 minutes or until set in the middle. Cool 10 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Top with strawberry syrup.
