Dried Beef Casserole



1 C. macaroni, uncooked
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 lb. dried beef, cut fine
1/2 of a small onion, diced
2 cans milk
1 1/4 C. grated Cheddar cheese, reserve half

Saute dried beef and onion in butter. Combine all ingredients together (except the reserved cheese). Refrigerate overnight or at least 4 hours. Place in greased casserole. Top with reserved cheese. Bake,
uncovered, 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350F. Let set about 10 minutes.
Options: Add peas or green beans.
