The Authentic Passport Program, a joint marketing initiative that teams the association’s B&Bs with area tourism partners offers visitors exclusive savings. Guests benefit from the passports in two ways: a $50 discount on their fifth stay at an Authentic B&B, and exclusive discounts at participating Lancaster-area restaurants, attractions, and shops. The two-tier program affords guests an opportunity to acquire a passport by staying at one of the bed and breakfasts participating in this program. With the passport, visitors receive a list of coupons, which are good for three years, detailing the area merchants offering exclusive savings for the Authentic guest. Each time visitors return to Lancaster to stay at an Authentic Bed and Breakfast, they have their passport stamped. On the fifth visit, they receive a $50 discount on their stay.
