Ruthie's Frozen Cabbage

Ingredients

Sauce:
1 C Vinegar
¼ C Water
½ C Sugar
1 tsp Celery Seed
1 tsp Mustard Seed

Veggies:
1 Head Cabbage
1 Green Bell Pepper
1 Large Carrot
1 tsp Salt

Directions

Bring sauce to a boil and let cool.
Cut veggies up fine or use grater to shred.
Mix cooled sauce with fine veggies. Cover with ice cubes and let stand one hour.
Drain. Stir together. Portion into freezer bags and freeze. Thaw and individual bags of salad as needed. Enjoy this old family recipe all year long.
