3 T. shortening 1 C. sugar 1 egg 1 3/4 C. flour 2 tsp. baking powder 1/2 tsp. salt 1 C. milk 1/2 C. blueberries
Streusel: 1/2 C. flour 2 T. soft butter 1/2 C. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon
Cream shortening with sugar. Beat in egg. Sift dry ingredients and add to sugar mixture alternating with milk. Sprinkle washed and drained blueberries with a bit of flour to keep from sinking and stir into batter. Pour into greased and lightly floured 11 x 7 pan.
Streusel: Mix until crumbly and sprinkle on top of batter. Bake 350F until finished (when toothpick comes out clean), approximately 40 minutes.
